General FAQs

How do I place an order?
A: Orders can only be made through our website or by emailing us directly at
discount.beach.bikes@hotmail.com 

What currency are prices listed in?
A: All prices are listed in AUD.  All transactions are completed and processed in Australian Dollars.

What are your hours of operation?
A: We are open 24 hours per day Monday through Sunday as we are an online business.  We do not currently have a shopfront or warehouse.  Please feel free to email us at anytime seven days a week and do leave a message because a representative will respond at their first opportunity.  We attempt to reply to all emails within 24 hours.

What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept Cash, Visa, MasterCard and Paypal.

Sales FAQs 

Will you match a competitor’s price?
A: If you find a lower total delivered price on an identical bike(s) from another authorised dealer, we will do our best to match that price on a similar make and model.

How do I determine which bikes are in stock?
A: When you view our bikes on our website you will see a number indicating how many bikes are available in that particular make, model and colour.  If a bike is out of stock, instead of a quantity number, the website will list the bike as ‘out of stock’.  If there is a bike that is listed as ‘out of stock’, please contact us via email and we will give you an indication of when that model will be available to purchase. 

How do I determine which size bike is right for me?
A: A 26" cruiser is well suited for anyone 5' - 6' 8". Adjusting the handlebars and seat post will allow people on the taller or shorter end of the spectrum to ride the bicycle comfortably. For someone less than 5', our 24" cruiser (coming soon) would be more comfortable.

General Size Guidelines

24" Cruiser: Adult with a 29 to 33.5-inch inseam.
26" Cruiser: Adult with a 33.5-inch or greater inseam

Do you have a showroom or shopfront?
A: No we do not, we are 100% online.  

How long does shipping take and how much will it cost?
A: Please allow 2-10 business days for your order to be processed and delivered. Most orders arrive in 3-7 days from the time you order, however shipments to the west coast may take longer. All bikes are shipped using Mainfreight, Hunter Express or E-go. The package weighs approximately 18 kilograms and is about 145cm long, 75 cm high. 

Is local pick up available?
A: No, not at the moment.
 

Is assembly required?
A: Yes. Your bicycle will arrive 85% assembled. The remainder of assembly is straight forward and takes approximately 25-45 minutes. Please see our Bike Assembly page for details on how to assemble your new bike.

What should I do if I receive a damaged bike?
A: Unfortunately sometimes a bike will arrive damaged. If this happens, please send us an email as soon as possible. Most manufacturers will require a picture of the damaged part or area before a claim can be made.  When sending the email, please attach photos of the damaged components.  This will assist us in making a claim from the manufacturer.

Is there a warranty?
